A "Junkie"
is "one who has an insatiable interest or devotion."
The Political Junkies ("TPJ") is simply a community of Democrats who share
such devotion to the Democrat Party and political issues. "Junkies" of all
political views are welcome to subscribe to TPJ. We strive to publish a
wide range of views, even those we disagree with, to foster the exchange of
ideas and debate that makes the Democratic Party vibrant. TPJ readers
should expect to be intellectually challenged.
TPJ is “antique” in appearance. Our layout is as simple as our
objective. The focus is to provide readers with superlative analysis and
views critical to the Democratic Party. We have been described by one
Democratic Party organization as; “The online equivalent of having a
politically rabid, Democratic reference librarian as your neighbor.” It is
exactly the role that TPJ strives to achieve.
TPJ is published weekly on Sunday with updates on Tuesday and Thursdays with
an occasional break from publication for major holidays. By subscribing,
below, you will receive email notification when TPJ is published and
updated. TPJ does not release the names,
addresses or phone numbers of any of its subscribers for any purpose.
TPJ is free. TPJ is an independent community of Democrats. TPJ is not
officially affiliated, sponsored or paid for by the Democratic Party. TPJ
is not associated with any specific candidate and does not accept
advertising on behalf of candidates. We do not sell promotional materials
of any type.
Joining TPJ is free - always! Publishing TPJ is
not inexpensive. Publication expense is approximately $2,000 for 2003 and is
paid for by the Editor. Junkies may support TPJ by making a voluntary
contribution to the TPJ. Contributions are not tax deductible.
