“TPJ is back!”
TPJ is back from its “technological exile” of the past month.
First, we apologize to our readers for the forced exile. In layman’s terms, TPJ had become so large that the site simply froze.
Second, we have learned a bitter lesson. Not all web hosting services are the same. Our web master worked diligently to find a new web host; we had to try more than one, which has the expertise to accommodate our needs.
Third, our webmaster has made some very important changes. The structure of the site has been changed in order that TPJ pages should appear faster on your computer. And, perhaps most importantly, we now have Google as the search engine for our archived material that goes back to March 3, 2003. The Google search engine is more powerful, faster and discerning than the search engine that we had previously.
TPJ received so many wonderful letters of concern over the course our absence and entreaties to return as soon as possible. We were touched by the outpouring and determined to return – better than before.
And, in our exile, TPJ turned three as of March 3, 2006. Our exile was not the birthday celebration that we envisioned, but the letters of support we received provided an emotional satisfaction that makes TPJ worth the effort.
